About Us

Communities United for Smart Growth (a 501(c)(3) public charity) is a coalition of long-established neighborhood organizations, homeowner and property owner associations, and business groups in the East Valley/Hollywood area of the County of Los Angeles in Southern California. The purpose of this coalition is to monitor development in this region, study its possible effects on the region, and to enter into a dialogue with the developers of proposed developments with the goal of creating a common vision that would be beneficial for both the developers and the community at large. We are comprised of representatives from the following areas:
